Delivering a clear strategy for implementing AI across the business

The board of Opinium had recognised that artificial intelligence was rapidly becoming a critical factor in effective corporate governance and long-term strategic planning. As part of their oversight responsibilities, they recognised they needed to set out a clear and comprehensive AI strategy for the organisation.

Although Opinium had already incorporated a handful of AI tools into various research-specific tasks, these efforts were ad hoc and largely confined to individual teams. The company had no formal, company-wide AI strategy in place, nor were they leveraging AI consistently across broader business operations. It was clear that a more structured, integrated approach would be required to ensure Opinium remained competitive, responsible, and future-ready.

iwantmore.ai was brought in to run a full AI strategy development process over the course of 8 weeks.

This included:

• AI readiness assessments of the business and all staff
• AI discovery with 14 of Opinium’s senior team uncovering 60 use cases for AI and automation
• An AI leadership workshop where we showed live demos of the use of AI and automations specific to their business, and then helped them score and prioritise their AI use cases
• Writing their full AI strategy, action plan and road map
• Setting up and then sitting on their AI council as on-going support

Opinium now have a clear strategy and direction of travel for implementing AI across the business.
